#88 SLOW-MOWED SINGLES: Camouflage Ninjas

The b-side to this single is "Wake Up", which has an old Incredible Hulk tv show sample, and maybe it was that sample from my embedded childhood, or maybe the paranoid space alien illuminati lyrics, or maybe I don't know, but I played that song daily for like a year or two of my life. It was my favorite song forever and a day, and I have tormented many a person with it. It shocks me that my stupid drunk stoned ass sitting out in a free camper with an extension cord running to it listening to shit on slow could be so different from the urban Richmond (15th most dangerous city in America, word is bond!) drunkard couch-crashing vagina-scamming Datsun driver I was back when I played this shit all the time. But apparently I am.

Killarmy is that kind of stuff that you put away for a year, pull out and think it is the greatest shit you ever heard. The last track with the MASH sample is some beyond brilliant stuff. They were without question the most tolerable of the Wu offspring.

After the first album, I was the hugest Killa Army mark ever. Did you ever hear the 5 Archangels Sunz of Man single, that came out first before Killa Army? Same type of crazy stuff, and then by the time Sunz of Man had an actual album, the Wu had started to suck, and you could tell, even in Sunz of Man, that they were getting too fat.

I have that Sunz of Man CD laying around somewhere. I really only recall a few tracks that were ok, and they were the tracks with ODB, and the one track with half the Wu. I am suprised they aren't like Killa Priest and are not still out there making albums on some tiny label. I think KP is up to about 6 albums now and 5 of them no one bought.
