MNZ: Murder Dog Volume 14 Number 2

For good laughs, Murder Dog is about as good as it gets. Throw in the fact this is a New Hyphy Producers issue (meaning a rainbow-like plethora of Oakland A’s hats in the accompanying pictures), and that makes this a must-have issue of a magazine for those who enjoy reading funny shit on the toilet. There’s just too much good shit (probably not the way it was intended to be good though) for me to even try to capture for you. It’s only four dollars, and if you’re a cynical wise-ass who wants to love everything and everybody but unfortunately they all give you too much obvious reason to not love them, then this is always gonna be one of your best bets at the newsstands. Ozone has more stupid pictures, but Murder Dog is nothing but retarded interviews, sometimes where the artist doesn’t even get labeled in the piece, so you have to read it to try and figure out who he is, only to find out nothing more than he used to really be into Mac Dre, and Rick Rock’s second cousin was the first to put him on the scene, but it was San Quinn who really mentored him, and now he’s gonna blow up the world with his completely unique derivative style.
